SECURE EXTENDED CARE UNIT RESEARCH SERIES

The first Australian study to characterise patients referred to a non-forensic Secure Extended Care Unit. This three-paper series examines sociodemographic and clinical profiles, psychosocial and forensic characteristics, predictors of acceptance, and re-referral patterns across a 5-year cohort (2019–2023) at Austin Health's 25-bed SECU.
